Robert L. Bob Karstens, age 51, of Murfreesboro, TN went to be with the Lord after suffering a heart attack on June 11, 2012 at MTMC. Mr. Karstens was orginially from New York and lived in Tennessee for the past twenty years. Mr. Karstens is survived by his parents Shirlene Karstens Brown and her husband Melvyn M. of Murfreesboro; siblings Craig William Karstens and his wife Rita of New Jersey, and Gary Thomas Tsangas of Murfreesboro; two nephews Justin and Zachary Karstens, and one niece Caylie Karstens all of New Jersey. He is preceded in death by his father William Karstens who died in 2007. Mr. Karstens graduated from Rutgers University in Camden, NJ and the Fire Fighters Academy in Maryland with top honors in his class. He was an Advanced Life Support Paramedic Nationaly Registered. He will be laid to rest at Memorial Gardens, in Tampa, FL. He will be in our hearts forever.
