Robert "Pocko" Haskell Smith, age 72 of Murfreesboro, TN, died Friday January 10, 2014. A native of Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of the late Cecil Gordon and Roberta B. Ervin Smith. Mr. Smith was also preceded in death by his sister, Susan Smith Rosemeyer. Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 50 years, Mary Ann Martin Smith; daughters, Katharine Smith Barrett and her husband Toby of LaVergne, TN and Becki Smith Tucker and her husband Jerry of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Dane Allen Barrett of LaVergne, TN. Mr. Smith was a member of World Outreach Church. He worked in sales and customer service his entire life, and was currently employed at Publix on S. Rutherford Blvd. in Murfreesboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to World Outreach Church or to the charity of your choice in memory of Mr. Smith.
