Mr. Robert "EddieBob" Finchum, age 73, of Smyrna, TN passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2016. He was born in Chicago, IL to the late Leslie Ford and Jean Hansen McAdams Finchum. Mr. Finchum proudly served his country in the United States Marines for 30 years. Before his retirement, he had been assigned two tours of duty in Viet Nam and attained the rank of Sergeant Major.

Mr. Finchum is survived by his wife of 46 years, Elaine Finchum; five children, Pamela Hill of Smyrna, Patti Jacobs and Mike of Nashville, TN, Robert Norris and his wife Tina of Ann Arbor, MI, Richard Norris and his wife Lisa of Prattville, AL, Valerie Peters and her husband Tracy of Greensboro, NC; twelve grandchildren, Jeff Hill, Kristi Batchelor, Christopher Finchum, Cheree Finchum, Anthony Jacobs, Victoria Norris, Robert Norris, Anthony Norris, Michael Norris, Haley East, Tyler Norris, and Nevin Peters; four great-grandchildren, Kelsi Batchelor, Matthew Batchelor, Christian Hill, and Laura Hill; brother, Donald Finchum; sister Joann Brown and her husband Rickie; and beloved dog, Peppi.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, October 29, 2016 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 2:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
