Robert "Don" Donald Eaton age 78 of Murfreesboro, passed away Tuesday December 24, 2013. A native of Beech Grove, he was the son of the late Rex and Ruth Carter Eaton Pryor. He is also preceded in death by his first wife; Judith Gayle Eaton, and a brother; James Eaton. Funeral service will be 1:00pm Saturday at The Church of God at 2011 St. James Street Murfreesboro, Tennessee 37128. Brother Jeff Yohe will officiate. Burial will follow in Shelton Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mr. Eaton is survived by his wife of 25 years; Sylvia Gayton Eaton, Son Brent Eaton and his wife Kimberly of Columbia, two granddaughters; Justine Eaton of Murfreesboro, Chelsea Eaton of Columbia, two great-grandchildren; Hayden Davis and A.J. Seiber, and his sister; Shirley Gregory of South Carolina. Mr. Eaton was a deacon of The Church of God and retired as a truck driver for Cadillac Motor Car.
