ROBERT MARSHALL DENNING, age 91, of Murfreesboro, died Wednesday, November 19, 2008. He was a native of Davidson County and the son of the late Elmore Burgess and Bessie Virginia Green. Funeral services will be 1:00 pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Steve Hutson will officiate. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. He is survived by his sister: Mary D. Knight of Murfreesboro, three nephews, eight great nephews, eight great nieces. Mr. Denning was a member of the Judson Memorial Baptist Church, a Chemical Engineer with Marquette Concrete Company, and a U S Army WWII veteran.
