ROBERT A. DAVENPORT, age 87, of Lavergne died Friday. He was a native of College Grove, TN and the son of the late Robert S. and Eva Morris Davenport. Graveside service 2pm Monday at Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Paul Wampler will officiate. He is survived by his wife: Sarah Davenport, sons, Robert C. Davenport of Nashville, Virgil W. Davenport of Smyrna, and John Anthony Davenport of Smyrna, brother, James Davenport of Franklin. Mr. Davenport was a Truck Driver for over 30 years until his retirement.
