Robert "Bobby" Arthur Green, Sr passed away peacefully at his home the morning of Saturday, April 30 ^th , 2022, at the age of 82, with family and friends at his side. He was born on February 12 ^th , 1940, to loving parents, James L. Green and Mabel A. Green.

Bobby went to college at Aquinas College, acquiring his bachelor's degree and among many other jobs in his lifetime he was primarily a homicide detective for the Metro Police Department. He would also help his community at the Tennessee school for the blind, would work on cruises and especially teach dancing as a dance instructor with his special friend and dance partner, Peggy Ivie.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents, James and Mabel Green; and wife, Judy Green. He is survived by his son, Rob (Laura) Green; daughter, Cindi (Doug) Gesar; grandchildren, Crystal (Terry) King, Justin Gesar, Robert "Bobby" Green III, and Hailee Green; best friends, Nita Guinn and Ray Bennett.
