MRS. ROBBIE ADAMS BOND, age 83 of Nashville but formerly of Murfreesboro died, Tuesday October 7, 2008 at home. She was born in Davidson County, Tn. and was the daughter of the late John Walter & Annie Lee Brooks Adams. She is survived by her daughters, Lucy Lee Bond of Nashville, Mary Sue Persons and her husband Ron of Arrington, Joanne Herbold and her husband Duane of Nashville, Laura Caffey and her husband George of Murfreesboro; son, John Thomas Bond, Jr. and his wife, Tammy of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren, Suzanne Tatum, Brian Persons, Laura Katherine Caffey, Callie Caffey, Justin Bond and Anna Marie Herbold; great grandchild, Mary Jackson Tatum. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Bro. Marion West and Bro. Tommie Heard officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn. Visitation with the family will be 6-8 pm Thursday. Mrs. Bond was married to the late John Thomas Bond, Sr. who died on November 23, 1993 and was a member of the Florence Church of Christ. She was very active in the Blackman Community Center, Garden Club, 4 H Club and the Home Demonstration Club of Blackman. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Bond may be made to the American Heart Association. Active pallbearers will be John D. Hood, Brian Persons, Richard Tatum, Jim Wilson, John A. Wilson and Larry Wilson. Honorary pallbearers will be Hershell Mullins, Jim Mullins, Thurman Mullins, Charles Robert Mullins, Tommy Hord, Bubba Hord, Tommy Lane, Steve Lane and John L.
