Mrs. Rita Boles Lankford, age 69 of Murfreesboro, died Sunday morning, May 12, at St. Thomas West. She is survived by: husband, Wayne P. Lankford; 2 sons, Andrew Lankford of Murfreesboro, Tim Lankford and wife Paige of Hendersonville; 6 grandchildren, Jack, Paul and Zoe Lankford; Tyler Lankford, Thomas Akins and wife Lauren and children, Willa Gray Akins and Ada James Akins, Kasey Akins; mother, Georgia Boles of Alexandria; sister, Kathy Hale and husband Bob of Alexandria; brother, Larry Boles and wife Carolyn of Alexandria; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, May 15, at 1:00 PM at the Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Jacky Carver Sr. and David A. Lankford will deliver the eulogy. Interment in the Hillview Memorial Cemetery in Alexandria with Casey Lankford officiating. Serving as pallbearers are: Tyler, Paul and Jack Lankford, Casey Lankford, Rainey Lankford, John Boles, Chris Boles, Perry Boles. Honorary pallbearers are Elders and Deacons of the East Main Church of Christ.

Visitation at the Woodfin Chapel begins on Tuesday afternoon from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM.
