Rickey L. Dinsmore, age 61, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Thursday, September 1, 2011. A native of Alpharetta, GA he was preceded in death by his mother, Juanita Byers Dinsmore and a brother, Bennie Dinsmore. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 6:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Michael Murray will officiate. Mr. Dinsmore is survived by his wife, Sheryl Dinsmore; daughter, Amanda Alyse Dinsmore; son and daughter-in-law, Wyatt Shane (Laurie) Dinsmore; grandson, Elijah Carter Dinsmore all of Murfreesboro; father, Roy Dinsmore of Cummings, GA; brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie (Diane) Dinsmore of Peebles, OH; sisters and brother-in-law, Leatrice Dinsmore of Cummings, GA and Brenda (Wally) Sims of Duluth, GA; along with several nieces and nephews. Mr. Dinsmore attended New Vision Baptist. He was in route sales with Hillman Corporation and was in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He loved golf and enjoyed playing with his friends at Champions Run. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to L.E.A.R.N. (a special needs golf ministry) at First Baptist Church.
