RICKEY DALE BUSEY, age 58, of LaVergne, died March 19, 2012 at home. He was a native of Murfreesboro. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Jack Wood officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Busey is survived by his wife, Belinda Moore Busey; father, Edmond (Janet) Busey of Murfreesboro; children, Lisa (Steve) Martin, Murfreesboro, Randall (Britney) Smotherman, LaVergne, and Tonya Smithey, Unionville; sisters, Betty Joanne (Tilman) Lokey, Murfreesboro and Rheanna Busey, Murfreesboro; brothers, Michael (Ronda) Busey, Murfreesboro, Dickie Newman, Murfreesboro, Mickie Newman, Murfreesboro, Jackie Woodard, and Wayne (Nellie) Roberts, LaVergne; grandchildren, Trenton and Destiny Parker, Hannah and Haley Martin, Makenna Smotherman, Hunter, Cason, James, Jr., and Ashley Smithey. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Pitts Kelton, grandson, Jacob Martin, and mother-in-law, Virginia (Nannie) Moore. Mr. Busey was an employee of M I Windows and Doors in Smyrna for 26 years. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
