Rickey Wayne Allen, age 68 of Murfreesboro, TN, went to meet his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 30, 2025. He was born in Nashville, TN to Helen Marie Townsend Allen and the late Olin B. Allen. Rickey was also preceded in death by his wife, Vina Marie McGaw Allen, and a sister, Regena Foley.

Rickey is survived by his daughter, Karen Daingerfield and her husband Sean of Murfreesboro, TN; mother, Helen Marie Townsend Allen of LaVergne, TN; granddaughter, Gracie Marie Daingerfield of Murfreesboro, TN; grandson, Zachary Wayne Daingerfield of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Teressa George and her husband Gene of Nashville, TN; and his loving grand-pup, Dolly Mae.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. The funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, October 6, 2025, at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Brother Kenneth Hobbs and Chaplain Michael Wenger officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Rickey served his community as a minister and a funeral director for many years.
