Mr. Richard "Rick" Stern, age 74, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2020. He was born in Los Angeles, CA to the late Alick Frank and Rosemary Nees Stern. Rick proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years during Vietnam. He was awarded a Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Rick grew up playing water polo and surfing. He enjoyed snorkeling, scuba diving, and anything to do with the ocean.

Rick is survived by his son, Matthew Stern and his wife Stephanie of Murfreesboro; grandson, Hunter Wade Stern; and family, Cherie Renee Stern Pickett.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
