Richard Michael Patient, age 51 of Smyrna died Friday July 19, 2024. He was born in Battle Creek Michigan. He was preceded in death by fathers, Eugene Dougherty and Terry Joe Patient, Sr.,  brother, Terry Joe Patient, Jr and nephews, TJ Patient.

Mr. Patient was a member of Concord United Methodist Church, and jack of all trades. He was a devoted husband, father, son, brother and uncle.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Tonya Bly Patient; daughters, Zoe Patient, and Sadie Patient; mother, Ruthan Patient; brothers, Gene Patient and Tammy Stokes, Gary Mann and wife Denise; sisters, Misty Gray and husband Chris, Christy Patient Claxton and husband Keith; siblings from Michigan, Bryan, Dan and Elizabeth Dougherty.

Visitation will be Thursday July 25th  2:00PM to 6:00PM  at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Funeral service will be Thursday July 25th 6:00PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro. Cremation to follow the service. www.woodfinchapel.com
