RICHARD NUNLEY JOHNSON age 88 of Murfreesboro, died Thursday April 26, 2012 at MTMC. Mr. Johnson was a native of Murfreesboro, and was the son of the late James D. and Ethel Nunley Johnson. Funeral services will be 11:00 am Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Pastor Carl Wenck will officiate. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife Louise Medlock Johnson, sons Richard N. Johnson Jr. and his wife Helen of Murfreesboro, Michael L. Johnson and his wife Susan of Fayetteville, N.C., and Alex M. Johnson and his wife Shirley of Murfreesboro, daughters Rickie L. Johnson of Seattle, WA., and Jeannetta Lewis and her husband David of Murfreesboro, and one brother Robert H. Johnson of Lugoff, S.C., eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. Mr. Johnson was a member of Grace Lutheran Church. He had attended Lascassas High School and retired from the United States Air Force following 24 years of service. Visitation will be 4:00 until 8:00 pm Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
