Richard Eugene Jackson, 61, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee passed away on August 29, 2017. He was born April 10, 1956 in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania to a military family, parents Jack B. Jackson and the late Edith S. Jackson, as well as a brother, Kim Jackson. On September 22, 1990 he married the love of his life, Linda Louise Lueck. He is survived by his loving wife, son and daughter, Richard Alexander and Amanda Nicole Jackson, as well as his father.

RJ, as his many friends fondly called him, was a graduate of MTSU and a member of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity. He was a jeweler and artisan, loved and respected by his personal clientele.

Richard lived life to the fullest. He loved his family with everything he had and anything left spilled over to his friends. The outpouring of love and support from his many friends now speaks to his ability and passion to love, lead, and care for everyone around him.

A celebration of Richard's life will be held at his beloved home at 5111 Woodbury Pike, Murfreesboro, TN on Wednesday, September 13, 2017 from 4pm until 8pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
