Richard Arnold Harvey, age 57, went to be with his Lord and Savior Wednesday Morning, April 27, 2011. A native of Vicksburg, MS., he was the son of the late Oscar and Elese Breazeale Harvey. A memorial service will be held Friday at 1:00 PM at Murfreesboro Missionary Baptist Church with Ken Massey officiating. Visitation will begin two hours prior to the service at the church. Mr. Harvey is survived by his wife, Jeanne Suggs Harvey; daughter, Amy Harvey of Nashville; son, Michael Harvey of Murfreesboro; sisters, Ann Wheeless of Vicksburg, MS. and Dale Graves of Riverview, FL.; brothers and sister in law, Bill and Amanda Harvey of Madison, MS., John Harvey of Smyrna, TN. and Thomas Harvey of Brandon, MS.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Harvey was a member of Murfreesboro Missionary Baptist Church and graduated from Mississippi State University and Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He was owner and broker of Priority Partners Realty Co. Mr. Harvey was a six sigma black belt and had a love for motorcycles and always had dreams of living in the mountains. His passion in life was church administration and helping everyone he met. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Baptist Student Union at Mississippi State University, the Alzheimers Association or the Murfreesboro Missionary Baptist Building Fund.
