March 7, 1955 – April 18, 2019
Richard "Rick" Harris, age 64 of Murfreesboro, TN, formerly of Florence, SC, went to be with his Lord, Thursday April 18, 2019.
Rick is survived by his wife; Sherree Campbell Harris; two daughters; Autumn Harris of Murfreesboro, Katy Miller and husband Justin Miller of Murfreesboro; grandchildren, Archer and Charlotte Miller of Murfreesboro; mother, Jean Rosalie Harris of Moriah, New York; sister, Linda Vance and husband David of Colorado; brothers, Kerry Harris and Donna of Maryland, and Robert Harris, Jr, of New York. He was preceded in death by his father; Robert Harris, Sr.
He was born in Ticonderoga, NY and grew up Moriah, NY and was a graduate of the University of Dayton. Mr. Harris was a 33 year employee of Sonoco Products Company working as Director of Employee Relations Industrial Division in Hartsville, SC.
Rick greatest joy was being with his family and his pets. He had a passion for hockey, morning walks, Starbucks coffee, craft beer, cigars, shopping and good music. Rick had accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He brought an abundance of love, joy and laughter to his family each and every day. The last few months, Rick spoke about his thankfulness to God for the many blessings in his life. He said many times, "I just can't complain".
Philippians 2: 13-14, For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose. Do everything without complaining or arguing.

Celebration of life service will be held on Saturday May 4 at 11:00 am (EST) at Church at Sandhurst, 1140 3rd Loop Road, Florence SC 29505. Reception will follow at Wholly Smokin' Downtown, 150 So. Dargan St. Florence SC 29506.
