RICHARD J. GREENE, age 64, of Smyrna died May 29, 2008 at Alive Hospice in Nashville. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Gail Westfall Greene; daughter, Tracy Bynum and her husband, Michael of Woodbury; son, Thomas Greene and his wife, Leandra of Milton; father, James Greene of Beverly Hills, Florida; sister, Carolyn Handley of Crystal River, Florida; grandchildren, Ryan Bynum, Sarah Greene, Ethan Bynum, and Amanda Greene. Funeral services will be at 2 pm Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Rev. Nathan Hale fficiating. Visitation with the family will be 5-8 pm Saturday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Mr. Greene was a member of the Baptist Church and a retired employee of Amtrol after 32 years of service. He was preceded in death by his mother, Alice Turner Greene.
