Richard Paul Dudek, age 76, died Monday, September 16, 2013. Mr. Dudek is the son of the late Casmir and Harriet Witkowski Dudek. He is also preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Mary Rose McConnaghy Dudek. Mr. Dudek was a native of Niagara Falls, NY and moved to Tennessee in 1980. A memorial service will be 11:00 AM Friday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Father Mark Sappenfield will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church School Fund in memory of Mr. Dudek. Mr. Dudek is survived by his children Stephen (Sue) Dudek of VA, Mark Dudek of VA, William Dudek of TN, James (Melissa) Dudek of TN, and Barbara (Kevin) Bliss of IL, seven grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at a later date in Niagara Falls, NY. Mr. Dudek is a US Army veteran who served his country for 17 years before his retirement.
