Mr. Richard N. "Buddy" Johnson, Jr., age 67, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Sunday, September 23, 2018. He was born in Rutherford County, TN to the late Richard N. Johnson, Sr. and Ode Louise Medlock Johnson. Mr. Johnson worked in asset protection for Wal-Mart. He enjoyed watching movies and became very knowledgeable about the actors and actresses in them.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife of 45 years, Helen Rubens Johnson; son, Trey Johnson of Murfreesboro; siblings, Rickie Johnson of Washington, Jeannetta Lewis and her husband David of Murfreesboro, Michael Johnson of N. Carolina, and Alex Johnson and his wife Shirley of Murfreesboro; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 from 1:00pm until 2:00pm at Advent Lutheran Church. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2:00pm at Advent Lutheran Church.
