Richard "Rick" Autery, Sr., age 72, passed away Friday, July 4, 2025. He was born in Columbus, Ohio to the late Robert and Sylvia Autery and was also preceded in death by his beloved four-legged friend, Fae.

He is survived by his wife, Trish Autery; children, Jason Williams (Carla), Rick Autery, Jr. (Kim), Jennifer Garvin, Ryan Autery (Danni), and Sal Gonzalez (Christy); nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; best friend, Steve Noe; furbaby, Ace; and numerous close friends.

Rick was a proud patriot and United States Marine Corp veteran. He loved the outdoors, fixing things, and was an avid football fan. Go Vols! He was best known for his gentle nature that calmed those around him. Rick was a devoted and loving husband, father, Pops, and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

Visitation with the family will be Sunday, July 13, 2025 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Celebration of life will begin at 4:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project or Semper Fi Fund.
