RHONDA NELL ALEGRE, age 49, of Smyrna, Tennessee died May 29, 2008 at StoneCrest Medical Center. She was born in Baytown, Texas. She is survived by her husband, Clifton Alegre of Smyrna; parents, Henry & Wanda Brown Black of Palestine, Texas; son, Dustin Alegre, Lake Charles, La.; daughter, Jennifer Dickens, Lake Charles, La. and Kelly McKinney of Lake Charles, La.; brothers, Troy Black and Quinton Black of Palestine, Texas and seven grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10 am Monday at Bailey & Foster Funeral Home in Palestine, Texas with burial to follow in Liberty Cemetery in Montalba, Texas. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 pm Wednesday at the residence, 503 D'Ann Drive, Smyrna, Tn. with James Christy officiating. Mrs. Alegre attended the Bethel Full Gospel Church and was in banking with Bank of America. Memorials in memory of Mrs. Alegre may be made to the Sarah Cannon Cancer Center or Habitat for Humanity.
