Rheta Glenn Lester Engle, age 74 of Mt. Juliet, TN passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2023. A native of Booneville, MS, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Glenn and Gertie Faye Martin Lester. Mrs. Engle was also preceded in death by her husband James Robert Engle, Sr.

Mrs. Engle is survived by her sons, James Robert "Jamie" Engle, Jr. of Lebanon, TN, Ricky Wayne Engle and his wife Rebekah of Mt. Juliet, TN, Terry Glenn Engle of LaVergne, TN, and Jerry Lynn Engle of LaVergne, TN; brothers, Mike Lester of Boonville, MS and Bryan Lester of Missouri; and eight grandchildren.

Visitation will be Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. The funeral service will be held Wednesday at 12:00 PM following the visitation with Bro. Joey Spann officiating.

A graveside service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday at Woodlawn Memorial Park with family and friends serving as pallbearers.

Mrs. Engle was retired from the City of LaVergne.
