Ret. MSGT Huey Frederick Mingeldorff, age 80 of Murfreesboro died Friday May 31, 2013. He was a native of Montgomery Alabama and was a long time resident of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mr. Mingeldorff retired from the United States Army, after 22 years of Honorable Service. His service in the Army included two tours to Vietman, from December of 1966 to November of 1967 and January of 1969 to February of 1970. After the Army Mr. Mingeldorff was a supervisor at the Cadet Dinning Hall at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Mr. Mingeldorff was an active member of the Elks Club in Colorado and was avid outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Mingeldorff; son, Marc Mingeldorff of Missouri; daughter, Noreen LaFontaine and husband David of College Grove; granddaughter, Kaitlin, and great-grandson, Layton.
