RENA BELLE MASON, age 89, of Antioch, Tn. died January 15, 2009 at Summit Medical Center. She was born in Davidson County, Tn. and was the daughter of the late Luther Harold & Bessie Irene Briley Higdon. She is survived by her son, Randall Mason and his wife, Barbara of Franklin, Tn.; sisters, Lois Conley of Murfreesboro and Marie Vaughn of Antioch, Tn; brother, Richard Higdon and his wife, Bertie of Lavergne; grandson, Justin B. Mason of Nashville, Tn. Funeral services will be at 10:30 am Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Bro. Jerry Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Visitation with the family will be 2-4 pm Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. Mrs. Mason was married to the late David Mason. She was a member of Gilroy Church of Christ and a retired employee of Avco. Active pallbearers will be Gregg Vaughn, Gilbert Vaughn, Charles Higdon, Harvey Higdon, Paul Strickland and Ronnie Strickland.
