RENA CARTER EATON age 96 of Beech Grove, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Wednesday March 6, 2013. A native of Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Jessie Shelton Carter. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Rye. Funeral service will be 10:00am Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, with Chris Anderson and Marvin Davenport officiating. Burial to follow in Shelton Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Ms. Eaton is survived by her grandson and his wife Todd and Mary Sewell, great-grandchildren, Rachel Sewell, Ashley Sewell, great-great grandchild Andrew Sewell all of Murfreesboro, niece Linnie and her husband Gary Pearson of Bell Buckle, and nephew Mike and his wife Vivian Bynum of Wartrace.
