Rebecca "Becky" May Jordan Miller, age 75 of Smyrna, passed from this earth to her eternal home on July 27, 2018 after a hard fought battle with Alzheimer's. She was one of eight children born to Pitser Herbert and Alcienia Chumbley Jordan. She was born in Phoenix, Arizona on May 11, 1943. She married her only love, Thomas Miller, on February 19, 1966.

Becky, Mama, Nana, Aunt Becky .... was surely a gift to all who knew and were loved by her. She was devoted to her large family and loved them all very much. She is survived by her husband Thomas Miller; daughter, Donna Miller;  son, Tommy Miller; and her grandchildren, Ryon (Taylor) Green, Kaylea Miller and Easton Davis; and great-grandson, Sawyer Green. She leaves each of them with memories of a caring, devoted and loving wife, mother and Nana. She will also be greatly missed by her siblings as Becky is the first of the eight to reunite with their parents who taught their children to love unconditionally and to be fiercely devoted to each other. Siblings include brothers, Bruce (Martha) Jordan, Walter (Margie) Jordan, Jack Jordan, and Bill (Pam) Jordan; and sisters, Janice Vaughn,  Ann Gambill, and Helen (Allen) Edlin; and their many children and grandchildren. Her beautiful, bright smile lit up a room and will be missed by all who knew her but none more than her family.

Becky was a longtime employee of Lifeway Christian Services/The Baptist Sunday School Board retiring in 2008 after 46 years of service.  While there, she was a chosen recipient of the Career of Excellence Award given to employees who made a significant impact on the company. She was a member of Miracle Baptist Church, La Vergne, TN and attended La Vergne Church of Christ for many years with her family.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Memorials in memory of Becky can be made to the Discovery Center at Murfree Spring in Murfreesboro, TN.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna. Jeff Williams will officiate. Burial will follow at Mapleview Cemetery.

Visitation will be Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
