RAYMOND M. THERIT, JR, age 58, of Smyrna, died August 20, 2010. He was a native of Hanover, PA, and son of Mary Mummert Therit and the late Raymond M. Therit, Sr. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 PM at Woodfin Memorial Chapel in Murfreesboro with Pastor Bernie Dixon officiating. Burial will be in Mapleview Cemetery. Mr. Therit is survived by his wife, Sharon L. Therit; daughter, Betsy (Eric) Jordan, Smyrna; Mother, Mary Therit, NY; sisters, Geneva Mosher, NY, Delores Cass, NY, Rose Burns, FL, Theresa Becker, NY, and Judy Grantier, LA. Mr. Therit was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, and an employee of Kroger Co. He was a life member of the Smyrna VFW, the American Legion, and the DAV.
