Raymond Peter Lambert age 73 of Murfreesboro, passed away Thursday March 20, 2014. A native of Madison, Wisconsin he was the son of the late Raymond and Harriette Lidell Lambert. Funeral service will be 11:00am Tuesday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Brother Joe Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at 2:00pm Tuesday at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery. Mr. Lambert is survived by his wife; Pat Brewer Lambert, three sons; Brad Lambert and his wife Joyce of Florida, Scott Lambert, and Mitch Lambert both of Wisconsin, three daughters; Michelle Lambert, Amy Carton and her husband Clint all of Wisconsin, and Rebecca Lambert of Illinois, two step children; Kimberly Booz and her husband Neil of Florida, Kenneth Brewer of Camden, Tennessee, six grandchildren, and three step-grandchildren. He is also surived by a brother; Bob Lambert and his wife Dee, and a sister Kathy Foss all of Wisconsin. Mr. Lambert was a member of Eagleville Baptist Church. He served in the United State Marine Corps from January 21, 1958 until November 19, 1963. After his service in the Marines, he went to work for General Motors in September of 1962 until his retirement August of 2004.
