RAYMOND DICKIE KELLUM LEE age 90 of Smyrna, TN, died Tuesday October 5, 2010. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Roy Douglas and Sallie Thomas Lee. He was preceded in death by brothers, Thurman, Roy, W. T., and Ricks Lee. Mr. Lee is survived by his wife of 62 years, Lillie Toombs Lee; daughter and son in law, Reba and Gary Jackson of Fredericksburg, VA; son and daughter in law, Allen and Stacey Lee of Lavergne, TN; brothers, Robert Lee of Joelton, TN, Norman Lee and wife JoAnn of Almaville, TN, Roger Lee and wife Billie of Smyrna, TN; sisters, Elene Butts of College Grove, TN, Sadie Holt and husband Charles of Nashville, TN, Estelle Wood and husband W.E. of Smyrna, TN, and Tillie Hager of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren, Mike, Keith, Amy, Nick, Abe, Tim, and Taylor Lee, Glen and Lee Jackson, and 10 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Friday at Woodfin Chapel Smyrna with Pastor Rob Hunter-Dunbar officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Lee was a member of the Kedron United Methodist Church, a WW II Army veteran, and retired from the Corps of Engineers and Crosslin Supply. Mr. Lee was a life time member of the Smyrna High Boosters Club and a member of the Smyrna Rescue Squad. He was also an avid rabbit hunter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kedron United Methodist Church in memory of Mr. Lee. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be the Mens Sunday School Class of Kedron United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank a special caregiver, Lee Jennings.
