RAYMOND YOUNG JR. age 83 went to be with his Lord and Savior October 5, 2010. A native of Rutherford County, he was the son of the late Raymond and Nora Melton Young Sr. He was also preceded in death by his step mother Gracie Young, step father Jim Victory, and his brother Bobby Victory. Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Saturday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Pastor Ron Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Coleman Cemetery. Deacons from Bellwood Baptist Church will serve as pallbearers. Mr. Young is survived by his wife of 62 years Billie Frances Brown Young, son, Billy Ray (Shelia) Young, daughters, Belinda (Charles) Crabtree, Regina (Wayne) Key all of Murfreesboro, 8 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. Mr. Young is also survived by his sisters, Myrtle (Leaman) Gossett, Peggy (Jim) Young, Betty Jean (Bill) Lavender, Janice (Rick) Goss, Shelby (George) Gossage, and his Brothers Ernest (Bobbie Jean) Victory, Wayne (Peggy) Young, and Jimmy D. Victory all of Murfreesboro. Mr. Young was a member of Bellwood Baptist Church and retired from Alvin C. York Medical Center.
