RAYMOND THOMAS CLARK, SR. age 71 of Smyrna, TN, died Thursday March 19, 2009. A native of Fosterville, TN, he was the son of Mary Lou Douglas Clark of Murfreesboro, TN and the late Frank Richard Clark. He is survived by son, Ray T. Clark, II of Smyrna, TN, daughter, Rose Marie Clark of Murfreesboro, TN, mother, Mary Lou Douglas Clark of Murfreesboro, TN, brothers, Richard Clark of Murfreesboro, TN, Stanley Clark of Smyrna, TN, sisters, Mary Sissy Adcock of Smyrna, TN, Sara Louise Joslyn of Murfreesboro, TN, Wilma J. Powers of Rockvale, TN and Lois Mae Adcock of Silver Creek, GA. Mr. Clark was also survived by a granddaughter, Linda Ariel Clark and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral service will be held 11:00AM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Jeff Adcock officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mr. Clark was a US Army veteran a member of the Fosterville Church of Christ, and retired from Bridgestone Firestone in Lavergne, TN. He was married to the late Shirley Ruth Frank Clark and was also preceded in death by sister, Betty Bahou. Active pallbearers will be family and friends. Honorary pallbearers will be James Thomas, Thomas L. Scott, Jr., Ed Stewart, Jimmy Jaco, Jack Faulk, and his high school friends.
