Ray Jones, Sr. age 69 of LaVergne died Saturday March 30, 2013. He was a native of Old Hickory Tennessee and was preceded in death by his parents, Fred and Maggie Henson Jones; five brothers, and three sisters. Mr. Jones was a member of Gilroy Church of Chirst and retired Mechanic for Metro Board of Education. Mr. Jones is survived by his wife Sara Louise Jones; sons, Ray Jones, Jr. and wife Jamie of Smyrna, John Jones and wife Stefany of LaVergne, Robert Jones and wife Melissa of Antioch, Tommy Jones and wife Stormy of Smyrna; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 2:00PM Monday at Mapleview Cemetery. Brother Jerry Maxwell will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday 3:00PM to 8:00PM at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna www.woodfinchapel.com
