Raojibhai "Raoji" Patel, age 95 of Murfreesboro, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Residence at Alive Hospice, Murfreesboro. He was born in India and held a degree in Agriculture. He later returned to school to receive medical training. Upon completeion of his training, he returned home and served his community as a medical practitioner, often times purchasing needed medicines with his own money for those unable to afford them.

Mr. Patel is survived by a daughter, Jyoti Patel and her husband Mahesh of Murfreesboroand a host of other loving family and friends.

Private services are under the direction of Woodfin Memorial Chapel. The family requests memorials be made in memory of Mr. Patel to the local charity of your choice.
