Ralph Spraggins, age 72 of Smyrna died Saturday. He was a native of Memphis, Tennessee and a son of the late Clarence and Wilma Spraggins. He was also preceded by his daughter Dana Spraggins, and two brothers David and Mike Spraggins. Survivors include his sisters Bobbie J. Bittner of Smyrna and Billie Jean Munn of Bossier City, Louisiana, and a brother Donald A. Spraggins of Tallahasse, Florida. Mr. Spraggins was a United States Army Veteran and served during Vietnam. He enjoyed raising and training horses and had worked as a security guard. Visitation with the family will be Tuesday, July 22, 2014 from 4:00 pm until the time of memorial services beginning at 5:00pm at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
