Ralph Fuller's Obituary
Ralph Fuller, age 83, of Smyrna, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 18, 2016. A native of the Bronx, NY, he was the son of the late, Willard and Cecelia Thilo Fuller; wife, Mary Margaret Haley Fuller; and son, Mark Fuller.
A funeral mass will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Luke Catholic Church in Smyrna. Father Mike Roark will officiate. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens will full military honors.
Mr. Fuller is survived by his daughter, Teresa Torress and her husband, Angel of Smyrna, TN; daughter-in-law, Kim Fuller of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Sean Fuller and his wife, Joan of Pensacola, FL, Joseph Fuller of Smyrna, TN, Christopher Yunker and his wife, Mary of Nashville, TN, and Cameron Yunker of Chattanooga, TN; and sister, Mary Scarce of Perry, NY.
Mr. Fuller was a member of St. Luke Catholic Church. He served four year in the United States Navy and 22 years in the United States Air Force. Mr. Fuller was a proud veteran of both the Korean War and the Vietnam War and was awarded the Bronze Star. While in the Navy, he served on the USS Oriskany. With the Air Force, Mr. Fuller worked with hydraulic systems and was a specialist working with F-104's. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus where he was a Fourth Degree Knight, and was also the highest member of the Dominican Laity and a member of the Air Force Association. Mr. Fuller enjoyed wood working and building model air planes. He was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves, Tennessee Titans and the Nashville Predators. He also loved to read. Mr. Fuller was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother and will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
Family will serve as pallbearers.
Memorials in memory of Mr. Fuller may be made to a Cancer Society of your choice.
Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary Service at 7:00 p.m. all at Woodfin Chapel in Smyrna.
