Radford Ray S. Gilliam, age 83, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away on January 17, 2013 at Northside Health Care following an extended illness. He was born and raised in Buckingham County, VA and a former resident of Roan Mtn, TN. Mr. Gilliam was preceded in death by his parents John Edwin and Mary Kyle Gilliam, along with his twelve siblings. Mr. Gilliam was a US Air Force Veteran, serving in the Korean War. Mr. Gilliam is survived by his daughter Cynthia Cindy Allen and her husband George T. Allen, Jr. of LaVergne; two grandchildren Michael T. Allen of Kissimmee, FL and Christina R. Allen of Key Largo, FL. He was Papa Ray to his great-grandchildren Noah and Jonah Allen, both of Kissimmee, FL. Mr. Gilliams interment will be at Middle Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
