Rachel Leigh Orman Jacobs, age 22 of Christiana has gone to be with the Lord on June 20, 2014. She was a lifelong resident of Christiana and member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Mrs. Jacobs was a 2010 graduate of Riverdale High School and member of the Basketball Team winning two state championships 2007 and 2010. She attended U.T. Martin and MTSU. Mrs. Jacobs is survived by her husband, Shayne Kyle Jacobs, parents, David and Lela Orman; grandmother, Shirley O'Brien; grandfather, Ed Orman; aunt, Linda O'Brien; aunt and uncle William and Janice O'Brien, Greg and Dawn Orman; mother-in-law, LaVonne Gibson; brothers-in-law, Shawn Jacobs, James (Danielle) Gibson; sister-in-law, Jennifer Gibson; Cousins, Josh O'Brien, Curtis (Carla) O'Brien, Clint (Kyla) O'Brien, Caleb (Amanda) O'Brien, Carlene (Warren) Harriman, Nicole (Justin) Remkus, Jamie (Karen) Orman, Abigail and Meaghan Orman; and a host of other family and friends. She was preceded in death by Grandmother Martha Orman, and Grandfather Curtis O'Brien. Funeral service will be 10:30AM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with Rev. Dave Brown officiating.
