Rachel Laurane Mendenhall, age 35, of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 26, 2018. She was a native of Waldport, Oregon, where she grew up.

She is survived by her loving husband, Blake Mendenhall; daughters, Kallie and Kyelah and son, Kade all of Murfreesboro; father, Wayne Jacobson and his wife Penny of Seal Rock, OR; mother, Laura Inge and her husband Mike of Clackamas, OR; brother Matt Jacobson and his wife Rebekah of Dallas, OR; sister, Rebekah James and her husband Sam of Bend, OR; grandmother, Patricia Cassidy of Palm Springs, CA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Melinda Mendenhall of Murfreesboro; brother-in-law, Brent Mendenhall of Murfreesboro; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Brock and Erica Mendenhall of La Quinta, CA; along with many beloved nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles and cousins and loving friends.

Rachel attended Family Worship Center in Murfreesboro. She loved the beach and the outdoors. She wanted people to know "The only thing I want in life is to be known for loving Christ." Rachel had a heart of gold.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at Family Worship Center in Murfreesboro. Pastor Eddie Turner will officiate. Visitation will begin Saturday one hour prior to the service.

A second Celebration of Life for Rachel will be announced at a later time and will take place in her hometown of Waldport, OR.
