Rachel Hut Bremen, age 32, of Phoenix, AZ, formerly of Murfreesboro, TN, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. A funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church. Rev. Nicholas Allen will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Rachel is survived by her husband, Adam Bremen; parents, Peter and Joanne Barbera Hut of Murfreesboro, TN; sister, Rebecca Hut of Murfreesboro, TN; grandmother, Margaret Barbera of NJ; mother-in-law, Margo Bremen of AZ; brother-in-law, Noah Bremen of CA, sister-in-law, Erin Melson and her husband Doug and their children of CT and her beloved dog, Elsie. Rachel was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roelf and Norah Hut; grandfather, John Barbera; and father-in-law, Barry Bremen. Rachel was a 2001 graduate of Riverdale High School. She was a 2005 graduate of UT Knoxville where she majored in Political Science and minored in Public Administration. She received her Master of Public Administration in 2007 from the University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS. Rachel was a Senior Management Assistant in the Financial Services Department with the city of Glendale, AZ. She enjoyed reading, politics, current events, shopping and UT Sports, especially women's basketball and football. Rachel was also a KU basketball fan and loved traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
