Ms. Rachel Grissom Blackmon, age 38, of Smyrna, TN passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019. She was born in Ardmore, OK to Jerry and Donna Castoe Grissom. Ms. Blackmon loved her children and being involved in their activities. She received a scholarship to the University of Alabama for her singing abilities. Ms. Blackmon continued to use her talent while at church.

Ms. Blackmon is survived by her parents, Jerry and Donna Grissom of Smyrna; children, Caroline, Cole, Cooper, and Cate; sisters, Sarah Gregg and her husband Josh of Killen, AL and Emily Grissom of Murfreesboro, TN; nieces and nephews, Noah, Hunter, and Taylor; grandparents, Jean Castoe and Gene Hester of Davis, OK; aunts and uncles, Tim Castoe and his wife Theresa of Skiatook, OK, Debbie Cowan and her husband Joe of Wynnewood, OK, Vicki Jackson of Sulphur, OK, Karen Blair of CA, and Brandon Grissom of CA; and numerous cousins.

Visitation with the family will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 from 2:00pm until 4:00pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church. A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, October 12, 2019 at 4:00pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church, Smyrna, TN.
