Preston Joseph Wells, Jr., age 64 of Smyrna, TN, passed away Thursday January 29, 2015. A native of Frankfort, MI, he was the son of the late Preston Joseph Wells, Sr., and Marie Valerie Szyszlo Wells. Mr. Wells is survived by his wife of 43 years, Juliann Kanske Wells of Smyrna, TN; sons, John Joseph Wells and his wife Amy, and James Michael Wells and his wife Natasha all of Murfreesboro, TN; brother, Roger Malkowski of Copemish, MI; sister, Loretta Kimball of Smyrna, TN; grandchildren; Devin, Jacob, Emily, Carter, Sophia, and Mallory Wells. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Monday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel, Murfreesboro, with Pastor Brady Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Mr. Wells was a member of the Catholic Church and a retired boat manufacturer.
