Polly E. Taylor, age 75 of LaVergne, TN, passed away Sunday November 16, 2014. A native of Jackson County, TN, she was the daughter of the late James Carmon and Ledy Margaret Medlin Johnson. Mrs. Taylor was also preceded in death by her brothers, David and Ted Johnson. Mrs. Taylor is survived by her brothers, Dillard Johnson of Cookeville, TN and Danny Johnson of LaVegne, TN; sisters, Nell Farmer of LaVergne, TN and Sue Hightower of Lebanon, TN; nieces, Linda Issitt of Franklin, TN, Vicki Mills of Cookeville, TN, and Sheila Jones of Lebanon, TN; nephews, Donald Farmer of LaVergne, TN, Shane Johnson of Franklin, KY, Brandon, Johnson of LaVergne, TN, and Trey Johnson of Cookeville, TN. Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Wednesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Brother Ron Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna.
