Phyllis Dodd Hartman, age 87 of Smyrna died Tuesday July 5, 2016. She was a native of Nashville and was preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hartman, a daughter Paula Hartman, and parents, Cyrus and Emmalene Waldron Dodd. Mrs. Hartman was a member of Highland Heights Church of Christ. She was the very best cook and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Mrs. Hartman is survived by her sons, Jason Hartman and wife Rose Anne of Petersburg, Price Hartman and wife Alison of Murfreesboro, five grandchildren, Katie, John, Anna, Jamie, Adriane; and two great-grandchildren, Charlotte and Riley; brother, Wayne Dodd of Murfreesboro.

Burial will be 10AM Friday at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville.
