Mrs. Phyllis Anne Ezell Alford, age 63, of Murfreesboro, TN passed away Friday, August 14, 2015. She was a daughter of the late Dr. Kenneth P. and Dorothy Johnson Ezell. Mrs. Alford graduated from MTSU and was employed for 41 years by the State of Tennessee in the Department of Human Services. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Lynne Bradford. Mrs. Alford is survived by her husband of 40 years, Jimmy Alford; two daughters, Shannon Pratt and her husband Adrien of Murfreesboro and Amy Sisk and her husband Coy of Tullahoma, TN; brother, Pete Ezell and his wife Carol of Brentwood, TN; sister, Susan Roberts and her husband Owen of Belleair, FL; mother-in-law, Ruth Alford of Murfreesboro; and five grandchildren, Cassidy, Caleigh, Cameron, Avery, and Carley. Visitation with the family will be Monday, August 17, 2015 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm at Woodfin Memorial Chapel.
