On behalf of the Kanhaphanh family, it is with great sadness that we share the news of his passing on April 19th, 2020 at 3:15pm.
(May 10, 1950-April 19th, 2020)
Phon was an amazing/respectful husband to wife Mayoury Kanhaphanh, a hard-working provider to his children Somphet/Noy/Donny/Thommy Kanhaphanh, and fun loving/kind hearted caring grandfather to Jalen/Peyton/Ashton Kanhaphanh.
Besides his love and dedication to his family, Phon grew up playing electric guitar/keyboard piano. He loved to play/perform live music at venues for special occasions with his fellow bandmembers. Music was a passion for him and will always hold a special place in his heart.
Phon was sponsored to came to America in the 1980s with his wife, Mayoury, from the country of Laos. Like any other immigrant(s), he came to America to live the American Dream and to have a successful life/career. Both Phon and Mayoury became US Citizens in the 1990s.
He was very welled traveled and has been to many countries and cites through-out his life time. He had the best travel companion he could ever ask for, his wife Mayoury.
Phon was a hard-working man. He kept his word and never let anyone down. He did everything to support his family and even his close friends. If that meant working two jobs, that's what he did.
He also enjoyed doing outdoor activities such as fishing, hunting, staying fit and active by doing morning walks/jogging with his wife.
This is why he is THE BEST, and always will be THE BEST.
He will truly be missed by so many. We all LOVE YOU. Heaven has gained an amazing Angel.
Phon is survived by his wife Mayoury. His sons Somphet, Donny, and Thommy. His daughter-in- law Noy. His grand children Jalen, Peyton, and Ashton.
He's also survived by his beloved siblings in Laos. His nieces and nephews on both sides of the Kanhaphanh/Kaisonaley family in Laos/USA. His cousins and family in-laws on both sides of the Kanhaphanh/Kaisonaley family.
