Peter Vann Gregory , age 58 of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away Wednesday January 6, 2016. A native of Dalton, GA, he was the son of the late Bradley and Shirley Blaylock Gregory.

Mr. Gregory is survived by his wife, Jenifer Midgett Gregory; children, Keith (Jaime) Gregory of Camp Humphreys, South Korea, Andrew Gregory of Hermitage, TN, Steven Gregory of Murfreesboro, TN, Hunter Wright, Will Wright, and Holly Wright all of Murfreesboro, TN; granddaughters, Anna, Emma, and Abby Gregory; brothers, Clark (Linda) Gregory of Jefferson, GA, Timothy Gregory, and Patrick (Vickey) Gregory all of Dalton, GA; sisters, Barbara Hennon of Chattanooga, TN, and Gina Tucker of Dalton, GA; aunt and uncle, Nan and Harold Jones of Chatsworth, GA; father and mother-in-law, Don and Carolyn Midgett of Murfreesboro, TN; sister and brother-in-law, Jennette and Chris Sockwell of Lawrenceburg, TN, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Woodfin Memorial Chapel. Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Friday at Woodfin Memorial Chapel with David Young and Tony Holt officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery with Clark and Steven Gregory, Will and Hunter Wright, Chris and Peyton Sockwell serving as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be, Timothy, Patrick, Seth, and Cole Gregory, Blake Hennon, Harold Jones, and Brady Ray.

Mr. Gregory was a member of North Boulevard Church of Christ, a US Air Force veteran, and the Supervisor of Maintenance Operation with the US Postal Service.

Memorials may be made to the ALS Association in memory of Vann Gregory (Team Bubba).
