PEGGY MCDONALD GRISSOM, age 55 of Smyrna died Thursday October 9, 2008. She was a native of Greenville, KY. She was preceded in death by her father, Elman McDonald. She was co-owner of D.G. Transportation and a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Bremen, KY. Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna with Robert Mullins and Ron Caldwell officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. Sunday at Woodfin Chapel, Smyrna. She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Daniel Grissom, sons, Brady ( Victoria) Grissom of Murfreesboro, Jason Grissom of Murfreesboro, Seth (Tamina) Grissom of Smyrna; grandchildren, Hunter, Scout, Annabelle Grissom; mother, June Crews McDonald of KY; sister, Barbara Newman of IN; brothers, Bruce , Roger and Kevin McDonald all of KY.
