Peggy Lee Crum, age 81 of Smyrna, TN died Friday April 17, 2009 after a long battle with cancer. She went to meet the Lord at her daughters home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on November 9, 1927 in Wichita Falls Texas and was preceded in death by her parents Dudley Powell and Jessie Walton Bepko, and a grandson, Roger Lavell Crum. Mrs. Crum was a member of Smyrna First Free Methodist Church and was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. As a woman of great faith, Peggy loved the Lord and her family with all of her heart. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Eugene Crum, of Smyrna; daughters, Pam (Jim) Johnson of Smyrna, Debra Crum of Minnesota; sons, Gary Crum of Minnesota, James Crum of California; grandchildren, Leah Conrad of Idaho, Tracy Ames of Illinois, Neil Crum of Indiana, Kari Johnson of Nashville, Jami Geselle and Krista Phillips of Spring Hill, Nick Johnson and Joel Reed of Murfreesboro and Jason Reed of Nashville; 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Smyrna First Free Methodist Church with Ricky Reed officiating. Burial will follow in Mapleview Cemetery.
